 | We receive daily requests globally for benchmarking data from our Clients, Candidates, Contractors and industry network contacts. These requests come in two types: 1. Bespoke: we are retained and given specific, and quite often confidential information including scope of work; scale of project; location; detailed experience and other relevant variables. In return, we release data based solely on the bespoke information provided and only to the person/entity making the request. This type of benchmarking is a targeted approach and more accurate as it can distinguish between key factors such as commodity type; experience levels; project scope and size etc.
2. Generic: we are given a list of disciplines and/or position titles with no other information and asked to provide minimum/maximum rate data. In return we consult our benchmarking data management system; take a sample from 2000+ personnel; consolidate the rates per discipline/position title and issue accordingly. Whilst not as specific or confidential as our bespoke benchmarking process, this type provides an overall summary of positions/disciplines across a broad range of sectors and locations. It serves as a general overview for those people wanting a quick reference guide for the industry as a whole. In light of an increase in recent requests for Type 2 benchmarking, we are pleased to release the following data to those that request it.
